Meet Our Clients
to understand the commitment we make to our clients
Since 1999, Homebodies has been providing In-Home Care needs to Michigan’s lakeshore communities of South Haven, Fennville, Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland, Zeeland and surrounding areas.
Homebodies came to be as a result of the owners, George and Jean Waden “living the experience” by caring for their own parents who had been afflicted by Alzheimer’s and heart disease.
Jean remembers their sons giving up “their own bedroom” so Grampa Waden could come to live with them when they were young. When their sons were in collage, Jean’s Mom moved into their home because of concerns that her medications were not being taken properly, and apparent weight loss was due to poor eating habits.
Balancing marriage, kids, jobs, parents’ health are all things George and Jean remember very clearly and one reason they can empathize with families going through similar situations with their loved ones.
When you call Homebodies with concerns about your loved ones, to ask questions about caregivers, or for any other reason, you will talk to Jean or George. That is as "corporate" as Homebodies gets.
